Underscore Projects’ mission is to foster collaboration among artists in their creative process and connect them to a support system from concept to showcasing. Located in the heart of Little Portugal Toronto, we serve the community as a centre for public dialogue, encouraging open discussions and creating an alternative to traditional art spaces, to enhance our community’s experiences and support emerging artists and creatives.

Built originally in 1910, the building recently underwent major renovations while preserving its identity and history. Every aspect of the space was thought out to create a welcoming environment for artists and encourage creativity. Our studios have a kitchenette, washroom (two of the studios have a full bathroom), lots of natural light, high speed wifi - all in a beautiful space! We have options of long term leases or drop in use. There are also lots of possibilities of collaboration within our space and community being them through workshops, use of the gallery for exhibitions among other activities.
