ArtWorksTO receives the City Manager's Award

We are thrilled to announce that ArtWorksTO has been awarded the City Manager’s Award for Excellence in the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion category!

This recognition is a testament to our entire team’s passion, dedication, and commitment to advancing equity, uplifting diverse voices, and fostering an inclusive community through the power of art.

This milestone in ArtWorksTO’s journey to drive meaningful change would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our community. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our partners, OCAD University, the City of Toronto, and the Remix Project, for their commitment and collaboration in supporting emerging artists. We also thank our outreach partners, Jayu, Eva’s Phoenix, ImagineNATIVE, and Sketch Toronto, whose involvement has amplified our reach and impact.

Special recognition goes to our evaluators, Kris Erickson, Fiona Scott, and Dipal Damani whose expertise has helped shape and strengthen ArtWorksTO. We’re profoundly grateful to our talented program participants and alumni, who have invested their creativity and energy in advancing ArtWorksTO’s mission.
