PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT II Skills Clinic - Kune Music Hub

KUNE MUSIC HUB: SKILLS CLINIC Vol 1. Building an effective EPK with Luisa González

When: Jun 15, 2025

Time: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Where: 80 Gould St, Toronto, ON M5B 2M7, Canada

💪 In this clinic, we will be working together on building a strong EPK, the kind that will communicate who you are, what your sound is and what a vibe your shows are. EPKs are in 2025 your most important presentation card when applying to festivals, showcases, and other opportunities. A strong EPK ensures that people can get a quick and compelling impression of your artist profile and get you booked!

Luisa González is an immigrant from Colombia based in Toronto. She is an agent at MGAM (OKAN, Jeremy Ledbetter Trio) and is a tour manager and music video director.

👀 What are we going to do? Luisa will do a short presentation on what constitutes an effective EPK  (~12:00 pm to 12:30 pm), and we will spend the rest of the time (~12:30 pm to 3 pm) working on our own EPKs. Luisa will be in the room the whole time, providing feedback, answering questions and connecting with everyone.

By the end of this session, we hope that you:

  • Will have a working understanding of what constitutes a compelling EPK and how to use it to get shows booked.
  • Will have finished at least the basics of your EPK and have it ready for final touches before launching it into the world.
  • Will have made some new friends and connections and have a good time.

Bring your laptop/device and your best photos, bio, links to all music and social platforms, stage plot and rider if you have it. You are welcome to bring any promo materials that you want to share with people in the room. There will be snacks and beverages kindly provided by TMU.
