The soul-body distinction is the basis of philosophy, existential crises, and world religions. ‘impressions of the soul’ is a one-day multi-media art exhibition exploring the physical and spiritual representations of important people in the artist’s life. It is a study of how the human body expresses the intangible nature of our souls, a collision between physical anatomy and the human experience. The audience is invited to witness the imperfect nature of the human condition via a journey through plaster moulds, oil paintings, and digital designs, hopefully questioning how they express their inner mind to the external world. Please join us on April 8th 2020 at the Debates Room, Hart House from 10am to 5pm.
