Made of carefully carved bone and ceramic beads, hair bone pipe beads have been a part of Indigenous culture for thousands of years. Tubed shaped beads, often tapered at both ends, were used as decorative elements by Indigenous people of North America. These beads were used for ceremonial dress, chokers, bracelets, and chest plates. Today, many people enjoy beautifully crafted bracelets and chokers as part of their everyday accessories.
