CELLO VIRTUOSO RETURNS TO SINFONIA TORONTO TO PLAY SCHUMANN

Brilliant Canadian cello virtuoso Stéphane Tétrault will return to Sinfonia Toronto on Friday, April 3 to play Robert Schumann's gorgeous concerto. Nurhan Arman will conduct the 8 pm concert at Glenn Gould Studio. In this concert every work will be a premiere performance: the Canadian premiere of a new transcription by Andreas Heinig of the Schumann Concerto; the Canadian premiere of Grazyna Bacewicz ‘Concerto for String Orchestra’; the world premiere of Nina Grigoryan’s ‘Spring’ and Nurhan Arman’s transcription of Prokofiev’s string quartet ‘The Kabardinian’
