SINFONIA TORONTO WRAPS UP THE SEASON WITH BEETHOVEN & GINASTERA
Nurhan Arman will conduct Sinfonia Toronto’s final concert of the season ‘Beethoven & Ginastera’ on May 2 at 8 pm in George Weston Recital Hall at the Meridian Arts Centre. Following great enthusiasm for her performance with the orchestra several seasons ago, Canadian pianist Marika Bournaki will return to perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in an 18th-Century transcription. Also on the program is the Toronto premiere of Argentinian musical icon Alberto Ginastera’s Concerto for Strings.
