Toronto School of Art is Toronto’s longest running independent art school. For over 50 years, TSA has provided a positive environment for aspiring artists to attain a quality visual arts education.  TSA fosters the inherent capabilities of its students through an education model revolving around artists teaching artists. In-person classes take place in our renovated historical building with spacious light filled studios, in the heart of Toronto in the Queen/Bathurst area. All courses (online and in-person) feature small class sizes, individual attention,  and offer students a unique opportunity for hands-on studio learning and exposure to artistic trends in drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, mixed media, digital and photography. Most courses are geared towards adults. A selection of courses for youth ages 11–17 are also offered each term.

At TSA, the faculty of professional artists/educators teach students, from all walks of life and of all levels, with both traditional and contemporary approaches.  We offer an array of courses to choose from helping to further develop students’ artistic vision and ability at any level.  Our team of instructors are passionate artists and  talented and dedicated art educators.
