CALL FOR FEEDBACK | UNITED WAY GREATER TORONTO
United Way Greater Toronto is bringing together the public, private, and community sectors to ensure that existing residents benefit through the Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity Initiative (ILEO)!
The Golden Mile (situated on Eglinton East between Victoria Park and Birchmount) will be undergoing significant development over the next two decades. United Way Greater Toronto is bringing together the public, private, and community sectors to ensure that the existing residents benefit from the development through the Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity Initiative (ILEO).
UWGT is collaborating with over 30 partners in this work, including BMO, IBM, Sun Life Financial, AECON, the City of Toronto, ACCES Employment, West Scarborough Community Services, Working Women, and the Victoria Park Hub. Some of the project partners have expressed interest in purchasing products or services from small businesses and artists in the area as part of the initiative.
UWGT is trying to get a sense of the artist ecosystem in the neighbourhood in order to determine the kinds of opportunities that might be available – arts sales, commissions, performance, etc. If you are an artist or art production company in the Greater Golden Mile area, UWGT would love to know about you!
For more information on the project, please sign up here by Friday, April 30, 2021.
