Presented by KJ Bit, an emerging collective whose goal is to brighten the streets of Toronto with artwork and partnered with the Open field Collective and StreetARToronto. September 15th — 16th, 2018 Euclid / Palmerston laneway (between College and Dundas St).

Artists - Artists, or artist teams are encouraged to submit concepts for murals in response to the theme “Light Up” as we want to illuminate and light up our laneways with colour and beauty. Selected artists will be designated a garage door in the laneway to paint. All materials will be covered and artists will receive an honorarium of $250.00.

Volunteers - Volunteers will work with artist coordinators to help prime garage doors, set-up and clean-up of the laneway project as well as other duties defined by the artist coordinator.

Application deadline: Sunday, Aug. 19 at 4pm.
Please note: Late applications will not be considered.
Artists and volunteers will get results by email by the end of August.

Important Dates:
Sun Sept 9 Laneway clean-up with volunteers.
Tues/Wed Sept. 11/12 Priming of garages with volunteers.
Sat Sept. 15 Painting Day 1
Sun Sept. 16 Painting Day 2 and Community Celebration
