Thoughts About Art and Community
I have an unconditional passion for the performing arts and entertainment. I am passionate about multidisciplinary and intersectional storytelling to advocate for social change and decolonization, educate and collaborate with emerging artists, amplify new and oppressed voices, and enlighten audiences. I also advocate for accessibility in performing arts spaces to evoke equality and safety for a full immersive experience in art and education. A strong advocate for education, learning and growth for youth - the leaders of tomorrow - I believe the performing arts teaches irreplaceable skills and lessons for life. I am always open to opportunities and challenges that will benefit creative industries and expand new horizons.
I (she/her) am a multidisciplinary artist based in the Traditional Territories and Treaty Lands of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, Anishinaabeg of the Williams Treaty First Nations, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, the Huron-Wendat, and the Métis Nations, also known as Scarborough. I specify in stage and production management, theatre administration, public relations, and design.
