About

Majd sukar is a Syrian clarinetist. A member of the Canadian Arabic Orchestra and a clarinet and Arabic music theory teacher at the Canadian Arabic Conservatory. Majd performed with famous Arabic Singers at many stages in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Algeria and moved to Canada in 2016 to shortly start performing on stage in different Canadian cities and with renowned international and Arabic singers and composers. He gave master classes in university of Toronto and york university in the Arabic music theory and how to incorporate the clarinet in the middle eastern music. Majd is now studying Jazz Performance at Humber College and continues to collaborate with different local bands.
