Thoughts About Art and Community

Since I arrived in Toronto. I decided to offer the best of my artistic skills and be an active part of the cultural movement. Fate has given me many other beautiful surprises. I won a Platform A, Micro Grant with my first documentary project, Where the Magic Happens. As an emerging filmmaker. Where I have been able to work on some of the issues that most concern me. Immigration and integration into the new society. As a writer and mother of a multicultural girl. I am very concerned about the loss of our roots, language and identity. That's why, since 2017, I'm doing a Spanish storytelling program. I love working with children. And in this way, it allows me to keep our legacy alive, like Spanish speakers in Toronto. I am very proud of my Storytelling program. and happy to be part of the RBC Arts Access Fund recipients. An incentive that has helped me strengthen my project.
