Forest Hill Art Club
The Forest Hill Art Club is a group of enthusiastic artists sharing a studio, enjoying camaraderie with fellow members, studio time, and participating in weekly life drawing and painting.
The club was established in the late 1940s near Eglinton and Spadina. The club caters to artists: professional, amateur and beginner.
Thoughts About Art and Community
The club provides studio space for artists from beginners to professionals; the opportunity to learn and continue to develop skills and appreciation of the visual art form; and also adds a social component to the act of drawing & painting. Our sessions run during the day which allows members working outside of daytime hours and
seniors to participate. Our members range from adult beginners to professionals in the visual arts.
Independent life painting and drawing and still life in a variety of media. Lessons are also available by a professional artist. We hold an art show and sale once a year of members' work and also exhibit at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre.
