An artist, writer and journalist, Lucy Slavianska has visited more than 35 countries and lived in Canada, the Netherlands, Venezuela, Japan and Bulgaria. Her art is inspired by her experiences and meditations during her traveling and exploration of different cultures and natural environments. In 2010 she moved to Toronto and studied Fine Arts at George Brown College under the supervision of Stefan Galvanek. With her cityscapes and landscapes in oil, pastel and watercolour she has participated in art shows in Toronto and London, ON. In July 2015 she had her first individual exhibition in Canada at Toronto Pubic Library, Oakwood Village library and Art Centre.

By showing my art I would like to share with others the beauty of lights I’ve found during my traveling and meditations, the power and joy of the present moment and the feeling of the inner peace that comes from being totally-in-the-now.
