Turtle House Art Play Centre
Turtle House is a unique art-based organization in Toronto, designed for children and families displaced by conflict and war to explore their creativity, play, express themselves and make meaningful connections.
The Turtle House program incorporates art and recreation for children (4-12 years of age) as well as a conversation circle for their parents to connect with each other and to gain necessary information to assist them to settle in their new home.
Turtle House offers a free program with additional supports, such as TTC fares, refreshment and interpreters to diminish barriers to participation.
