Mujer, a non-profit organization that promotes the integral development of Latin Women and youth is inviting community members to celebrate the ‘Month of the Mother/ Mes de la Madre Potluck Picnic” at Christie Pitts Park on Saturday May 26th, 2012.

This *free event* is being organized to recognize and celebrate Mothers in the community, as well as families to enjoy this special time together.

There will be music, performances, face painting, prizes, pinatas and refreshments. Community members who are attending are encouraged to bring food or drinks for the celebration.

This celebration will be held at Christie Pitts Park in the dome covered area (Across the street from Christie station) on May 26th, 2012 from 1pm –4pm.

Participants must register for this event, in order to help us have a better understanding of how many individuals will be attending as well as what will be brought by them (food, drink).
