Eyes On Tibet is accepting donations of work for the 2011 fundraising Art Sale.

Submission deadline: Friday, February 9th, 2011

Organized by a small group committed to making a big difference, the Eyes On Tibet Charity Art Sale will support SEVA Canada’s Tibetan eye-sight restoration camps. Your donation will go to funding cataract surgeries conducted by local Tibetan teams trained by SEVA.

The Eyes On Tibet Charity Art Sale will take place from February 25th, 2011. Using a pair of eyeglasses as a common theme, artists are asked to create a piece entirely up to their own creativity – they may be functional, sculptural, or something totally unexpected. Each piece will then be sold with 100% of the proceeds going directly to SEVA Canada’s Tibet Sight Program. A pair of glasses may be provided upon request.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

* Request an artist package and create one or more pieces to donate to the sale;
* Encourage other artists and creative celebrities to donate art work.

3D works are welcome! A pair of generously donated eyeglasses may be included upon request in the artist package for you to use as your creativity sees fit.

Tax receipts! You may receive a tax receipt for each piece of your work that is sold. Please ask how.
