The inPrint Collective and Graven Feather Studio are looking for volunteers to help us manage the night during our Scotiabank Nuit Blanche event, “Exquisite Multiple.”

This year’s Scotiabank Nuit Blanche will take place on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 from 7:03 pm to sunrise.

“Exquisite Multiple” is an independent project that will be showcasing a variety of printmaking techniques through the night in the space of Graven Feather Studio, located at 906 Queen St West (Zone A). As part of our printmaking marathon, we are inviting guests to take our finished prints and collage them on provided panels, in any way they see fit. The night will result in a city-wide collaboration of artmaking! And we need your help to make our project run as smoothly, safely and enjoyably as we can for everyone on site!

We are looking for volunteers to man the doors, maintain capacity within the site, as well as help our visitors through our project for a minimum commitment of two hours during the night (so you can enjoy the rest of the evening!) as well as one orientation meeting prior. We can provide reference letters in exchange for your time, or sign off on volunteer hours you may wish to fulfill for an academic or art program. As well, working with an official Nuit Blanche event will be fantastic for your C.V.!
