The Concerned Kids presents interactive and educational programs about relevant social issues to children and youth in Toronto and the GTA.

We are looking for volunteers to train as puppeteers to present these programs and open a dialogue about these issues.

Our focus is on bullying & school safety, but we also present topics on violence, gangs, multiculturalism & equality, substance abuse and peer pressure. Each presentation is 45-50 minutes in length and incorporates interaction as well as puppet skits.

We are looking for a commitment of 1/2 day 2-3 times a month. We also provide an 8-week (1 x per week for 3 hours at a time) training program.

We are looking for individuals who would like to make a difference in the lives of children and youth by empowering them through the medium of puppetry.
