"Crisalida" and partners proudly present: VIVA EL TEATRO! TORONTO’S FIRST FESTIVAL OF THEATRE IN SPANISH.
An entire month of first class plays by world-renowned authors, presented in Spanish with English translation. 17 dates to choose from, starting March 31.
Join us in this artistic showcase of wit, passion, rebelliousness, and laughter as we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month (April) in Toronto with a line up that includes: Nobel laureate Dario Fo, immortal beloved Federico García Lorca, and surrealist master Alvaro Menéndez Leal, among others.
A percentage of the ticket sales will be donated to the following community organizations: Grupo Solidario Ibiray, Casa Cultural Colombiana, ALIDDESA, Coordinadora de Asociaciones Salvadoreñas, and Patronato de Artes del Perú. Please visit www.festivalinspanish.ca for info.
