Shadowland Theatre Youth Troupe’s Annual Mummers Play
Come and celebrate the seasonal cycle and the classic battle between winter and spring with Shadowland Theatre youth troupe’s annual Mummers Play.
They will be performing at the following events:
1) December 17th as part of kith&kin's Holiday Wassail at the Music Gallery/St George the Martyr Church at
197 John St. Doors open at 7p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets: $12 advance, $15 at the door, and $10 students/arts workers/MG members Kids under 12 free. Go to www.musicgallery.org for more information.
2) December 19th at the Island Wassail, St Andrew-by-the-Lake Church, Toronto Island at 7 p.m. Contributions of a snack to share or warm socks for the Out of the Cold program would be welcome. This is a free event.
Ferries leave the city for Ward’s Island at 5:30 p.m and 6:15 p.m. It is a 10 minute cycle, and 20 minute walk to the church. Limited van transportations are available.
3) December 21st at Red Pepper Spectacle Arts’ Kensington Market Solstice Celebration. Parade sets off 6:30 p.m. Shadowland is at Exile, 20 Kensington Ave. Ongoing performances from 6 p.m. This is a free event.
