Position Title: Director, International Relations and NOC/NPC Services

General Accountability
Lead the development of and ongoing relationships with the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO), International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Americas Paralympic Committee (APC), and their member National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and National Paralympic Committees (NPCs), to ensure the efficient delivery of defined programs and services to meet their respective needs and expectations.
Key Job Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Communications
Develop, maintain and nurture individual relationships with PASO, the IPC/APC, and the NOCs/NPCs that are preparing for and will be sending athletes to the Toronto 2015 Games.
Participate in and present at key PASO, IPC/APC, NOC/NPC meetings and other international sport meetings, as required.
Ensure the dissemination of information in a timely and consistent manner to PASO, IPC/APC, NOCs/NPCs and coordinate feedback from these organizations’ expectations to the appropriate TO2015 functional areas.
Coordinate daily correspondence and issue resolution with PASO, IPC/APC, NOCs/NPCs both pre-Games and at Games-time.
Manage and maintain database of PASO, IPC/APC, and NOC/NPC records.
Pre-Games Services
Plan, organize and deliver pre-Games PASO, IPC/APC, NOC/NPC meetings with TO2015, including visits to Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe, as well as Toronto 2015 venues.
Plan, organize and lead the delivery of the PASO General Assemblies in October 2013 and July 2015.
Organize and lead the implementation and delivery of the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games Chefs de Mission Seminars to be held in Toronto in 2014.
Organize and lead the and delivery of the NOC and NPC Delegationimplementation Registration Meetings and related processes.
Lead the design and delivery of the commitments within the Toronto 2015 Bid Enhancement Program to NOCs and NPCs participating in the Games.
