Cameralinks 2011: From the Ground Up!
CAMERALINKS 2011 - From the Ground Up!
February 17 to 26, 2011
Opening reception: Thursday, February 17, 3-6pm
CAMERALINKS, our annual non-competitive theme-based exhibition, provides a unique opportunity for Elementary and Secondary School students from Metro Toronto and the surrounding areas to exhibit their photographic artwork in a professional gallery. The theme for our 24th Annual CAMERALINKS exhibition is From the Ground Up!
This non-juried exhibition provides an opportunity for students to gain confidence and self-esteem while they explore their creative abilities. A theme-based call for submissions is distributed each winter throughout Toronto area schools and students are encouraged to create photographic artwork responding to a theme. Participants embark on a creative journey that takes them from idea, through production, to exhibition in a major Toronto gallery.
You are invited to share in this rare and inspiring experience - an exhibition of hundreds of photo-based artworks created by Toronto students!
