It is common to hear the saying that "hard work beats talent if talent dont work hard". I'm an aspiring artist who lives up to this slogan. Tyrone Taiwo also known as Yung Spot is in constant pursuit of fulfilling my dreams and aspirations. My passion and talent for music came from the relationship between me and the environment. The environment helped me to create music suitable for others to listen to and as a way to build my talents. By remaining persistent and displaying good work ethic I'm able to develop the skills needed to continue the pursuit of fulfilling the dream. My goal is to integrate my passion for music and knowledge as a scholar.
Thoughts about art and community:
I think that networking is the key to success and mutual benefit for all parties. Its all about team work and trust or as it is known "keep in 100". The Toronto community has great and tremendous talent in the arts realm especially with regards to musicians, poets and lyricists. It would be amazing to work with other talented artists. I think that one of the major problems in the art community in Toronto is supporting and investing in our artists. It would only help the communities in Toronto if we could invest and nurture our very own artists.
