About:
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
an arts educational community outreach program whose objective is, to provide young people from our culturally diverse communities with an opportunity to explore their potential, while developing their talents and skills as creative and expressive individuals.
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
an intensive sixteen week multi-disciplinary performing arts program taught by artist/teachers who are professionals within their disciplines, and are representative of the communities that SuiteLife Arts for Youth serves
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
accessible to young aspiring performers age 14 -20yrs., who for whatever reason cannot afford such training within the mainstream, and or may not have an opportunity to take performing arts courses in high school.

SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
Acting (for stage and video), - the youth work as a collective, utilizing the technique of improvisation, to “remix” a Canadian work. This process demands focus while encouraging creativity and collaboration.
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is :
Singing - through vocal exercises and fresh arrangements of contemporary songs the youth strengthen their individual and collective voice
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
Dance - centering and strengthening the body and mind through modern jazz and hip hop choreography instills the individual with self confidence.
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
Percussion - the youth learn to listen to each other while feeling the rhythms of the music that is created. Harmony.
SuiteLife Arts for Youth is:
Performance - the participants present their work at a professional theatre. They learn how to adapt to the environment, and ultimately commit themselves individually and as a collective to the work being presented. Audience applause further affirms the performers achievements. Bravo!!

Christ Church Scarborough

SuiteLife Arts for Youth
auditions (aptitude assessment), young aspiring performers at both locations in mid October of each year.
SuiteLife Arts for Youth workshops run for 16 weeks beginning 1st week in November. The workshops culminate in “Pay What You Can” performances at Harbourfront Centre 1st week in March
