Thoughts about art and community:
My art, called Mindscreens, is visual storytelling that invites viewers to engage their imaginations through the uncertain process of recalling memories. My philosophy is that art should be accessible to all, and not elitist. I accomplish this by focusing on the "fun factor", and making sure students feel comfortable and safe so they can experiment.
I enjoy collaborating with individuals and organizations, to design and teach popular art programs.
My art programs have been successful because they are flexible and adapt to the needs of the learners, which has increased the positive profile organizations have within their community. (i.e. - improved their PR)
