Delight in the magic of Latin American music as ECC travels south to bring you an evening of colourful, rich harmonies and toe-tapping rhythms. The program will feature tender lullabies, playful folk songs and celebrate the excitement of carnivals and dances. With music originating in Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Argentina, our selections feature such seminal composers as Antônio Carlos Jobim, Francisco Repilado, Moisés Simon, and Astor Piazzola. The program will include solo songs, a duet, a quintet and an octet featuring our core of lead singers. The choir will be joined by an ensemble of guitar, piano, string bass, drums, percussion and two violins. Book now. Individual concert tickets are $30. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. Student and group rates are available on request.
