This interactive learning workshop thrives on the many layered Teachings of the Medicine Wheel in concept, structure, content, and as the facilitator’s tool. Participants learn about sacred teachings and concepts while guided through a distinctly creative process. Players craft original theatre with and for each other. They become the creative collaborators exploring First Nation historical, political, social, issues and cultural differences. Both indigenous and non-indigenous individuals work together to validate the First Nation experience while sensitizing mainstream Canadians’ understandings of Aboriginal history and worldview. Participants must wear comfortable clothing and *bring a blanket* to work with, and then donate to an organization or community-in-need as an Exchange Experience Social Justice Initiative.
No theatre experience necessary.
