Our Let's Talk Art event scheduled for March 3rd has been postponed due to bad weather in the forecast.
We are getting between 5-10cm snow, freezing rain, and ice pellets making it a very challenging commute.

Let's Talk Art | In the Write Direction
Join us for the first installment of our part four part series, which will bring a total of 20 award winning professional Toronto based artists to facilitate workshops for newcomer artists. These artists will represent the following disciplines: Music, Literary, Visual Arts, Media Arts, Theatre and Dance
Each workshop will be formatted as a 3 hour round table session facilitated by 5 multi-disciplinary artists. This hands on workshop will focus on promotional writing for artists to help newcomer artists write successful artist statements, biographies and writing for promotional materials.
Some of our speakers include:
- Ian Kamau – Spoken word artist, writer + visual artist
- Aliya Pabani – Artist + Director of Communications at SAVAC
- Charmaine Lurch – Arts researcher + interdisciplinary artist.
- Jason Maghanoy – Playwright
This series will give access to newcomer artists to connect with the gatekeeper of the Toronto arts sector, an opportunity to increase their capacity and understand how navigate the arts in Toronto.
