Are you between the ages of 19-24? Interested in starting a career in the performing arts but unsure where to start?

Don’t worry; the Toronto Fringe Festival and RBC Emerging Artist Program are here to help! Our T.E.N.T. Project connects young creative entrepreneurs with theatre experts to guide them through the next steps.

This year includes Producing 101 by Convergence Theatre, “What is a Brand” by Lucy Evereigh, “Marketing Yourself” by Sue Edworthy and a special site-specific workshop by Dora award winner Matthew Thomas Walker. With Q+As from veteran Fringers, up-and-coming acts and established theatre companies, get a chance to talk with the fields leading experts! All participants will be given a Fringe Rush Pass!

Applications are open NOW and will remain open for ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS!

PARTICIPANTS MUST:

- Be 19-24 years old.
- Be interested in a career in the performing arts, with a fondness for the nitty-gritty of the theatre world.
- Have experience in the performing arts world (either through post-secondary education or through working/volunteering in the theatre community).
- Be available during the Festival (July 1-12th, 2015).

*We encourage participants of all performing arts backgrounds to apply.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- A cover letter outlining your past experience in the performing arts, what you hope to get out of the program, and what you hope to do in the future
- An up-to-date C/V (please keep to one page)
- A creative response (a story, poem, song, drawing, dance, particularly intricate spreadsheet….) as to why you want to participate in this program, or why you want a career in the performing arts
